Together We Are
Renowned contemporary artist Brendan Fernandes [Whitney, Guggenheim, MoMA and more] is creating his first performance series post-pandemic, hosted by Walker Hotel Greenwich Village beginning this weekend in New York City. Titled “Together We Are,” the piece will consist of three installments (July 16-18/ August 6-8/ September 18) with the finale performance culminating on National HIV/AIDS Awareness and Aging Day, September 18. A portion of F&B proceeds from patrons viewing the performances benefiting Visual AIDS, a nonprofit for HIV+ artists. “Together We Are” will incorporate visual arts and dance, exploring the importance of human connection and bring together the creative class of artists who have arguably been hit the hardest through COVID-19, alongside the hotel industry as well as remind us of the first major pandemic to sweep the artist class: HIV
July viewings: Friday, July 16: 3-4 pm Saturday, July 17: 1-3 pm Sunday, July 18: 1-3 pm
Venue: Walker Greenwich Village
