The National Arts Club and its Fashion Committee, inaugurating a new partnership series with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, present award-winning designer Cynthia Rowley in conversation with Marc Karimzadeh for an exploration of her illustrious career.

Cynthia Rowley began her career in fashion while studying at the Art Institute of Chicago. After graduation, she moved to New York City to start her eponymous fashion brand, known for its pretty-meets-sporty ethos. Rowley has won numerous accolades, including the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Perry Ellis’ Award and Designer of the Year at the American Image Awards. Marc Karimzadeh is the Editorial and Communications Director for the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Prior to joining the CFDA in 2015, he spent 15 years as a fashion editor and critic at Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine, covering New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks and writing features on designers and fashion industry leaders.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America is a not-for-profit trade association founded in 1962 with a membership of 474 of America’s foremost womenswear, menswear, jewelry, and accessory designers.
