The Young People’s Chorus of NYC and Argus Quartet to Perform the Art Exhibit, Alone Together
Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC) has announced a diverse, talent-packed lineup for a music series within its new, mixed-media art installation, AloneTogether, an in-depth exploration of the impact of Covid-19-related global turmoil on the hearts and minds of children and young adults.
On Tuesday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m., Francisco J. Núñez, YPC’s Founder and Artistic Director, will host an evening featuring the music of composer Derek Bermel. The critically acclaimed Argus Quartet will perform Bermel’s song “A Short History of the Universe” and Young People’s Chorus of New York City will perform the world premiere of Bermel’s rap, “Cabin Fever,” which was commissioned by YPC for THE CANONS PROJECT, a film featured in the exhibit.
The full AloneTogether exhibition is open to the public Saturday, November 20-Sunday, December 19 (Wednesday-Sunday) from noon – 6 pm.
