Kelly draws from her classical ballet training and her years as a modern dancer to inform her contemporary approach to teaching ballet. The barre focuses on alignment with an emphasis on simplicity, symmetry and a functional point of view. The center work consists of a series of challenging and intricate exercises designed to engage both the mind and body. Combining a thoughtful use of musicality and encouraging movement with freedom, Kelly’s class strives to provide dancers with the opportunity to enjoy movement for the pure joy of movement and have fun! Appropriate for levels Adv/Beg to Adv.
