MCP Presents: Symphonic Series and Songs
Elizabeth Swanson will conduct the Octavo Series Chorus in a rousing performance of varied, contemporary choral repertoire. From on-your-feet spirituals like This Little Light of Mine and I Will Rise, to the New York City premiere of Mari Esabel Valverde’s Look Down, Fair Moon, audiences will be treated to an eclectic and effervescent night of singing.
In addition, the evening will feature performances by elite wind ensembles from around the country. Programmed are works by Leonard Bernstein, Percy Grainger, Samuel Hazo and more. Be sure to get your tickets today for this night of superb music-making!
