Abbie - A politically charged exploration into Abbie Hoffman, the '60s activist/key member of the Chicago Eight. This one-man show offers a compelling inside look of what life was like as a leader of the anti-establishment, revealing the emotional stress caused by his underground hiding, the effects of police beatings, and other conflicts which eventually resulted in his suicide.

Angelina Ballerina the Musical - Angelina and her friends, Alice, Gracie, AZ, Viki and even their teacher, Ms. Mimi, are all aflutter because a special guest is coming to visit Camembert Academy! Angelina and her friends will perform all types of dance, including hip-hop, modern dance, the Irish jig and of course, ballet and they are excited to show off their skills to their famous visitor. Angelina is the most excited of all, but will she get the starring moment she hopes for?

Cymbeline - As dizzyingly eventful a drama as Shakespeare ever conceived, Cymbeline tells of a beautiful princess separated from her beloved, the cruel step-mother who tries to foil her, a credulous husband duped by an adversary, an exiled nobleman who kidnaps a king's sons and a Roman invasion of Britain. All that and more is neatly tucked into a lightning-paced, streamlined production in which six versatile actors play 14 roles.

El Insolito Caso de Mis' Piña Colada (The Preposterous Case of Miss Piña Colada) - A comedy about a mother's outlandish and incredible measures to make sure that her daughter is crowned Miss Piña Colada. Don't miss Carlos Ferrari's bitingly funny exploration of society's frivolous consumption and its obsession with appearances. Presented in Spanish with live English translation.

Flipzoids - In Flipzoids, a 70-year-old woman -- a recent immigrant from the Philippines - crosses paths with a young Filipino man on a deserted beach in Southern California. Far from their native land, a cautious friendship ensues as they attempt to reconcile their very different understandings of their old home, and try to fit in to their new one.

Freud's Last Session - Freud's Last Session centers on legendary psychiatrist Dr. Sigmund Freud, who invites a young, rising academic star, C.S. Lewis, to his home in London. Lewis, expecting to be called on the carpet for satirizing Freud in a recent book, soon realizes Freud has a much more significant agenda. On the day England enters World War II, Freud and Lewis clash on the existence of God, love, sex and the meaning of life - only two weeks before Freud chooses to take his own.

John Gabriel Borkman - Greed is good, according to this Henrik Ibsen drama--until it sends him to prison for embezzlement and leaves him ruined, disgraced, and desperate for a comeback. Three outstanding actors--Lindsay Duncan, Alan Rickman, and Fiona Shaw--join a wonderful ensemble from Ireland's acclaimed Abbey Theatre to tell this timely tale of one man's undoing in the wake of relentless deception and fraud.

La Gringa - Playwright Carmen Rivera penned this story of a young woman who travels from NYC to Puerto Rico to meet her family and discovers her roots. Her misconceptions are transformed as she learns that being Puerto Rican is a matter of the heart and spirit.

The Misanthrope - What's worse than being the only (self-proclaimed) honest man in a world of liars, gossips, and fools? Being head-over-heels in love with the chief offender among them. The Misanthrope follows the hilariously thorny love-life of the irascible Alceste and the coquettish Célimène, who put the concept of "opposites attract" to the ultimate test. Richard Wilbur's masterful translation of Molière's wryly personal comedy begs the question--can love really be this blind?

Pinkalicious, the Musical - Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe - a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament.

Room 17B - The comedy troupe Parallel Exit is back with their latest in which the boss wants to maintain control; his assistant wants to be the boss; the sales rep wants to win; and the company man wants to avoid conflict. Welcome to the chaotic office of Room 17B, where filing cabinets hold something stranger than paperwork. The ideal show for anyone who feels like they work in a circus.

Screenplay - In this new work from Badlands Theater Company, Dean is a failed screenwriter and Graham, a dot com millionaire who wants to produce movies. These former college friends reunite when Dean’s Oscar-bait screenplay captures Graham’s imagination. Howe much is Dean willing to compromise to get the picture made? A biting Hollywood satire that examines friendship, rivalry and ambition.

Three Sisters - Chekhov’s immortal masterpiece of thwarted dreams returns to New York in a highly-anticipated new production starring Maggie Gyllenhaal as Masha, Jessica Hecht as Olga and Juliet Rylance as Irina – the characters alluded to in the title.  Also in the cast are Peter Sarsgaard, Louis Zorich, Marin Ireland and Josh Hamilton.

Velma Gratch & The Way Cool Butterfly - Based on Alan Madison’s book of the same name, this new musical for kids begins with a totally psyched Velma looking forward to starting the first grade. Finding herself overshadowed by her big sisters, she longs for a way to stand out and discovers she love, love, loves butterflies!! Bonding with one butterfly in particular, Velma goes through a delightful metamorphosis of her own – one that will resonate with youngsters wishing to find their place in the world!

What the Public Wants - Arnold Bennett's sly satire on tabloid journalism offers a lively look at life behind the headlines and proof that the more things change, the more they stay the same. This 1909 comedy charts the efforts of media mogul Sir Charles Worgan to boost circulation as well as his social standing. He owns forty different publications and claims to have "revolutionized journalism." He employs over a thousand people and is worth millions -- and yet Worgan wants more -- he wants respect from the "superior people" who look down their noses at him. But is he willing to pay the price?

The Whipping Man - Three men tied by faith, bound by secrets, at a crossroads -- a Jewish Confederate soldier who has returned from battle and two rformer slaves, who were raised as Jews in his household.  As the three men reunite to celebrate Passover,t hey uncover a tangle of secrets that might cost each man his freedom. Starring Jay Wilkison, Andre Braugher and Andre Holland.
