Anew work by TJ Cole, commissioned by Carnegie Hall, is framed by music of Mozart and Franck on this concert by the always exciting Ensemble Connect. Mozart's genial Piano Trio delights with its abundant melodies, but also breaks new ground by liberating the strings from their traditional roles of supporting the pianist.
