Three-time Emmy-nominated pianist/composer, Steve Sandberg, will perform two live-streamed concerts in early 2021 from Brooklyn’s Soapbox Gallery. Sandberg’s concerts will mix performances from the solo piano repertoire (Chopin, Ravel, Bartok, Liszt), with his trio’s (Michael O’Brien, bass and drummer, Rudy Royston) expansive improvisations drawing from Latin, African, Balkan, and East Indian traditions. The concerts are January 30th and March 13th at 8:00PM and are $10. Any additional amounts ticket buyers contribute go directly into the pockets of the artists and toward the cost of running the venue. Tickets can be purchased by credit card or PayPal. These shows will mark Sandberg’s fourth and fifth appearances at Soapbox Gallery since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. All Shows are currently exclusively virtual.
