COVID Candlelight Vigil
On Saturday, August 14th at 8pm, Andra Tomsa and spare, a national nonprofit that is working to raise money for food banks, will be hosting a candlelight vigil on 5th Avenue in front of the Old Stone House in the heart of Park Slope to honor the lives that have been lost to COVID.
The vigil will feature performances by Lydia Hong, violinist of the New York City Ballet Orchestra, reflections by local interfaith speakers including Pastor Logan Dagley of Park Slope Community church and Rabbi Rachel Timoner of Congregation Beth Elohim, and remarks from local elected officials and frontline workers.Venue: Old Stone House
