Did you know that New York City mob icons Lucky Luciano, Joe “The Boss” Masseria and Joseph Bonanno lived in or frequented the East Village? Or that East Village-bred Mafiosi plotted the assassinations of five Cosa Nostra bosses?

Join attorney and mob historian Thomas F. Comiskey for a discussion of his most recent literary project - The East Village Mafia - and learn about the relationship between mafia bosses and one of the most diverse and emblematic neighborhoods in New York City. Comiskey will share personal anecdotes while comparing historical facts with the myths associated with NYC’s most notorious organized crime families.
