Climate action needs all-hands-on-deck. Join us for The Nest Summit's third annual event for Climate Week NYC. It's open to all!

The Nest Summit is committed to advancing sustainability to enhance the future viability of our planet by connecting thought-leaders and agents of change during Climate Week NYC in one central venue. With complimentary access to the event, The Nest Summit affords a wider opportunity to educate and collaborate on the best sustainability practices, policies, and solutions across the U.S. to engage and inspire communities to take climate action.

This year, The Nest Summit is taking place September 21 – 22 under NYC’s largest green roof at the Javits Center. Built for businesses and consumers, the event is open to the public, giving professionals and communities a chance to participate in the largest climate action event of the year. The content will also be available virtually and on-demand for those who register because this is too important to keep to ourselves!

We invite you to join us in person or virtually for our programs:

Decade of Change: a global photography award and collaborative exhibition dedicated to documenting the defining matter of our time: the climate crisis. Spanning across multiple themes relating to Climate Change – from humankind to wildlife and cityscapes to ecosystems – the work of artists who are harnessing the power of photography to tell their story and galvanize change will be proudly exhibited at The Nest Summit for Climate Week NYC.

Opening Remarks: Dr. Jonathan Foley, Executive Director of Project Drawdown will provide an update on the status of the race to zero – where we stand and highlight some of the challenges and promising solutions to help us get where we need to be to stay below 1.5 Degrees Celsius. He will also discuss the lexicon of sustainability and what “net zero” and other commonly used terms really mean.

Clean Energy: The future of renewable energy will be examined and real-time solutions presented by Ford Motor Company and Siemens US, the most innovative producers of clean energy products and services in the U.S.

Climate Risk & Impact Investing: Take a deep dive through climate risk, impact investing and the tools to forecast and demonstrate the changing landscape around the green economy with leadership from Schroders, The Climate Service, OneTrust, and Benecomms.

Changemakers: We'll hear directly from New York City officials and NYC & Company on the nation’s most progressive sustainability efforts, along with leading organizations - Salesforce, Women in Climate Tech, Watershed, Indigo Ag, Food Rescue US, and Informa Markets - who are each making meaningful advancements in transforming food, agriculture, fashion, tech, and tourism industries.

Climate Arts: The Climate Arts track will host an esteemed group of climate thought-leaders - the Climate Museum, Fix, Grist's solutions lab, Patagonia, author Devi Lockwood, and the British Journal of Photography - who are using the power of creativity, storytelling, and emotion to move the climate justice agenda forward and make change happen on a community level.

Climate Works: an eco-marketplace of products, services and solutions.
