Dancers of the Met
Dancers of the Met, an ensemble of current and former dancers of the Metropolitan Opera, join with furloughed members of the Met Orchestra and Met Chorus Artists to produce "Open Air Opera: Street Dances." The day's events begin at 11 AM with short demonstrations of dance and opera music. The two dance concerts take place at 4 PM & 5:30 PM, and show works by choreographers Belinda McGuire, Danielle Russo, Jacoby Pruitt, and Michelle Vargo, accompanied by musicians and soprano from the Met.
