Madame Tussauds NY Unveils Celebrity-Themed Trees for the Holiday Season


On Tuesday, December 3, Madame Tussauds New York will unveil a series of celebrity-themed holiday trees inspired by Katy Perry, Carmelo Anthony, and Sofia Vergara to be displayed through the holiday season.

Katy Perry’s festive pink tree will pay tribute to the pop superstar’s iconic image with a candy-land theme. Carmelo Anthony’s blue tree will feature an array of blue and orange embellishments to honor his status as New York Knicks basketball legend. Sofia Vergara’s tree will showcase her Colombian heritage and her glam persona. Children will help decorate and light the trees, which will be on display throughout the attraction for the remainder of the holiday season positioned next to their respective wax figures. Additional trees inspired by George Washington and Prince will be featured throughout the attraction.
