It's Rosé Season in NYC: Here's Where to Find It

The warm weather has arrived just in time for rosé season and New York bars and resaturants are ready. Whether frozen, chilled, or in decadent dessert form, we’ve rounded up some of the best new rosés of the season. We also offer revelers some of the best sipping spots for enjoying a glass or two. Pinknic—a rosé-themed event—will bring wine afficianados out to Governors Island at the end of the month. It's a great way to welcome summer. Beyond sipping rosé, there will be live entertainment, a Ferris wheel, and more. 

Best of NYC Rosés: Rosé on the Water, Wine Cruise (Chelsea)

Come celebrate the second annual 90+ Cellars NYC Rosé on the Water cruise, which will be held in Manhattan on Thursday, July 12, from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Enjoy an evening under the stars and take in some spectacular skyline views as you sip rosé while cruising down the Hudson River. Music will create a more festive atmosphere. Complete the scene—don't forget to don your pink. Ticket includes a 3-hour ride on the Spirit of New York, complimentary rosé (including reserve rosés), and Lila Wines throughout the duration of the cruise. Best of NYC Rosés: Pinknic (Governors Island)

From June 30 through July 1, it’s rosé all day on Governors Island at the third annual picnic and music festival. Thousands of revelers will get decked out in pink and white and ferry over to sip the day away. The beverage menu includes wine, spirits, and creative cocktails. Beyond the views of the Statue of Liberty and spectacular, soaring Manhattan skyline, bands and DJs will get the crowds moving and grooving. Tickets include one-day access to the event; ferry service from Manhattan to and from Governors Island; open lawn seating; and a Pinknic blanket, wine glass, and ice bag. This Manhattan rooftop, which boasts an Instagram-worthy view of the Empire State Building, has recently dropped its new Rosé All Day menu. The house's "rooftop spritz" is a blend of Wölffer Rosé Cider, gin, summery grapefruit, thyme, and refreshing lemon; house sangria features rosé and vodka with sweet hints of peach, orange blossom, and apple. Also on the menu is the signature frosé—a fan favorite slushy. For a cool escape, Trademark Taste + Grind added a rosé sangriato to its summer menuFusing its house blend rosé with the summery flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and citron, this refreshing cocktail is served in a stem glass and garnished with fresh strawberries and fun lemon wheels. Vintage meets mod at this ultra-stylish wine bar that offers an extensive menu of continuously rotating wines coupled with a menu of light French fare.
