The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: From Brad Pitt to Freddy Krueger at Madame Tussauds

Are you taller than Brad Pitt or J.Lo? Can you face Freddy, Jason and Leatherface? To answer these questions, come and mingle with your favorite celebrities--and your favorite Hollywood horrors--at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum near Times Square. Get up close to your favorite stars and see how lifelike the figures really are at this interactive "must do" attraction.

Have you ever wanted to meet and have your photo taken with some of Hollywood's A-listers? Well, now that dream can become reality as you enter Madame Tussauds' "Opening Night Party" experience. You will "meet" the likes of Julia Roberts, Will Smith, Jennifer Aniston, Morgan Freeman, and many more in this glamorous setting. You can also meet some of music's hottest stars, including Britney Spears, Madonna, Beyonce, Mick Jagger, Elton John, and Johnny Cash. Pop, rock 'n' roll, and country--Madame Tussauds has it all! There are several special celebrity encounters to be had. Get up close and personal with J.Lo, and see if you can make her blush. Join cooking diva Rachel Ray in a replica of her on-air kitchen. Have your performance critiqued by Simon Cowell of "American Idol." Join another kind of American idol, Superman, in a mock Metropolis, starring Brandon Routh of Superman Returns. Set sail aboard the Black Pearl with Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean experience.

You can also meet historical and political figures face to face. Ghandi, Princess Diana, Martin Luther King, and President Ronald Reagan are only a few of the many incredible figures "The Gallery" room features. Would you ever vote for a female President? Will Hillary Clinton be the first female President? Enter the voting booth and make it count. Step up, pull the lever, and when the curtain closes behind you, enter your answers on a touch screen. Immediately your vote will be tallied and displayed outside the voting booths, where Mrs. Clinton stands beside her husband, President William J. Clinton.

In New York, October is a time for falling leaves, and of course...baseball. Although the Yankees and Mets didn't make it through the playoffs this year, you can visit the "Ultimate Subway Series" experience with Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and the recently-welcomed Mets third baseman David Wright. The interactive exhibit includes a replica of the Mets' and Yankees' dugouts, pitching and cheering games, voice recordings of both players, and more. Think you can handle The Chamber? "Chamber Live! Featuring House of Horrors" transports guests to the settings of three iconic horror film series, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Friday the 13th. The Chamber, which exploits anticipation, suspense, and fear, features intricately designed sets and a cast of live actors, who are dressed as the terror masters themselves--Freddy Krueger, Leatherface and Jason Voorhees. The experience begins with a haunting mirror maze that leads to the door of 1427 Elm Street, where the Chamber officially begins. A unique experience and a must-see this year! Do you dare?
