2nd Annual NYBrewfest at South Street Seaport Toasts New York State Craft Beer
Five bands will grace the stage during the festival: Syracuse, NY's Bagpipe Dudes; Shelley King Band, from Austin, TX; Bernie Clarke and the Rhythm Sharks of Upstate NY; Philadelphia, PA's The Blue Method; and New York City's Josh Dion Band. Slow smoked barbecue is available from Spanky's BBQ of Times Square.
Heartland Brewery and The New York State Brewer's Association, along with the State Department of Agriculture, are planning ongoing events to introduce people to the pleasure of locally produced beer. "I'm really proud of the quality and diversity of beer styles our state breweries produce," explained Heartland Brewery owner, Jon Bloostein. "People now come from other countries to learn how to make craft beer here in New York and the U.S."
$45 advance tickets for the "NY Brewfest" are available at www.nybrewfest.com and all five Heartland Brewery locations in New York City.
